18 Jul, 2024

The Compasso D'Oro was founded in 1954. The award is widely regarded as the highest

recognition of originality, excellence and achievement in industrial design. It has now become

one of the most important industrial design awards in Europe. As a "hot commodity" in the

design industry, it has been coveted by countless designers around the world in recent years!

The Golden Compass Award is awarded every two years, and the selection scope covers

multiple fields such as product design, architectural design, urban design, and transportation design.

The 28th Golden Compasso Awards was held on June 20 this year, and 20 Compasso d'Oro

awards were presented, including 3 lighting products. Let's take a look.

A lamp for all possible living scenarios: a simple cable and counterbalancing system guarantees

flexibility in the positioning of the single light source, becoming both the guardian

and the character element of the space.

FIGAROQUA FIGAROLÀ is an elegant reinterpretation of candle lighting, introducing an innovative lighting design.

IP20 rated indoor pendant lamp, designed to bring the right light to any corner of the room.

The special suspension system allows the luminaire to be freely positioned in the space at the

height and depth of the light source. Room dimensions range from a minimum of 4x4m to a maximum of 12x12m.

Metal cables are fixed at the four corners of the room, connecting the vertical poles. The poles not only

ensure stability, but also serve as a support for the LED light source (single/double/quad),

allowing sliding adjustment of brightness.

In addition, it also provides the flexibility to add additional bulbs and lampshades, highlighting the

unique feature of adapting to customer needs and preferences.

ANIMA Floor Lamp:The reduction in thickness and material is combined with an expressive idea that

is able to evoke a deep need for transcendental engagement in a public increasingly bombarded with trivial information.

A slender, light, ephemeral and abstract sculpture, it is a weightless ideogram.

It transmits emotions through indirect light, and its aesthetic style is between Nordic and Japanese design,

two seemingly distant cultures that are actually very close. The circle with an open top is like a fishhook for the soul.

BIGA Bedside Lamp:A multifunctional product of small dimensions interprets new housing needs

– bedside table, light, connection, charging – in a globalized world where space is increasingly

limited due to economic pressures of urban development.

The bedside lamp BIGA combines bedside lighting, storage rack, wireless charging,

and USB socket into one.

The small spotlight can rotate in both directions and is dimmable. The front baffle is round/square and

can be selected in 8 colors, bringing different styles to the interior environment.
